SPECTATOR CHOICE AWARDS

What do the ribbons mean?

Judges first judge the cat by color, then by division (examples of divisions are:  Tabby, tabby and white, silver, pointed, pointed and white, solid and white and so forth.    These are all within a single breed.   After all the cats in that category:  kittens, championship class, alter class, household pet kittens, household pets.  The judge then will bring up their top cats in that competitive class.

These are color awards and depending upon how many cats are in that same color, the judge will place the top five.

When the judge is done judging a breed group:  i.e. Maine Coons then they then pick the top three in division.

When the judge has done with the divisions in a group then they award the top three Best of Breeds.
