SHOW HOTEL: SHOW HALL: Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Avenue, Lewiston, Maine 04240 CHECK-IN: Check in will be from 1:00-2:00 PM on Friday, Judging will begin promptly at 2:00 PM on Friday. Saturday check in ~ 7:30-8:30 AM. Judging will begin promptly at 9 AM on Saturday and 8 AM on Sunday. Published show hours are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. No cats may remain in the show hall overnight.
CAGES: Benching area of standard size (approximately 24” X 24” x 24”) will be provided for each entry. Two (2) kittens or one (1) cat are permitted in a single space. This is a “Bring Your Own Cage” show...each entry receives a 24" square space. Make sure you have enough space for the size of the cage you bring. (If your cage is larger than 24" square you will need to purchase the second half of the space in order for your cage to fit.) If you need to purchase a cage, we will have Portable Pet Houses available sized 19"l x17"w x22"h and can be purchased for $20 each. We will provide a link to a photo of the Portable Pet Houses for you to view. Please plan accordingly. If you have any questions about spacing, please contact the entry clerk. Please inform us if you need to purchase a Portable Pet House (please mark on summary sheet).
SUPPLIES: Please bring your own litter pans, food and dishes. Litter will be supplied.
PEOPLE FOOD:
HOUSEHOLD PETS: Household pet kittens (ages 4 - 7 months) and adults (8 months and older) may be entered. All adult HHP entries must be altered (spay or neutered). If you are unsure of the proper color class for your pet, include a full description or a photo (photo will be returned with confirmation.)
KITTENS: Kittens entered for competition must be at least four months old on the first day of the show. Kittens for sale must be at least three months old on the first day of the show. TICA litter registration must be available upon request of show management.
SALES/ADOPTIONS: Sales and adoption spaces will be available on a limited basis to exhibitors who are entered in the show. Cost per 24" square space will be $25.00. You must supply your own cage or purchase a Portable Pet House. No more than one cat or two kittens per single space. Kittens for sale or adoption must be 3 months old in order to enter the show hall. No kittens or cats may be confined to carriers, either displayed or under the table.
SHOW RULES: By entering, all exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges and the show committee and the TICA show rules. Official show rules may be obtained from TICA, P.O. Box 2964, Harlingen, Texas 78551, (956) 428-8046.
REGISTRATION: With the exception of Korats, preliminary new breeds, advanced new breeds and new traits entries, registration with TICA is not necessary to compete in a cat’s first show, but is required for the next show and confirmation of titles and TICA Regional/International scoring and awards.
THIS IS A NON-VETTED SHOW: All cats/kittens entering the show hall should be inoculated against Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis, Rabies and Calici virus and tested negative for Feline Leukemia. Please clip claws (front and back) prior to benching. Any cat/kitten showing signs of contagious illness, ear mites, fleas or fungus will be removed from the show hall, as well as any other cats/kittens exhibiting from the same household. Any cat which is obviously pregnant or lactating will be disqualified.
HOLD HARMLESS POLICY: By entering this show, the exhibitor named on the entry form/summary sheet holds harmless NauTICAts, The International Cat Association (TICA), and Augusta State Armory or the Show Hotel for any loss, theft, or accident to cats, kittens, personal property or injury to exhibitors or their guests as a result of any action/conduct related to the operations of this show. The opinions expressed in publication are those of its authors alone and do not reflect the views of The International Cat Association (TICA). The use of its logo in no way implies approval by The International Cat Association (TICA).

CLERKS: Please mark your summary sheet if you are interested in clerking. We need clerks. Preference will be given to TICA licensed clerks. Licensed/unlicensed ring clerks will receive $35.00/$30.00 per day/marked catalog/lunch respectively. Fees will be paid at the close of the show on Sunday. Please do not deduct clerking fees from your entry fee.
CATALOG ADVERTISING: Full page $50.00, Half Page $30.00, quarter page $15.00, Business car $5.00. Catalog size is 81/2 X 11”. Ad must be camera ready. Please send copy and remittance to entry clerk by February 15th.
NEW EXHIBITORS: We welcome you to the NauTICAts Show! Please indicate on the summary sheet that this is your first show. You will be sent a flyer detailing information that you will need to know. You may also request to be benched with an experienced exhibitor if you so desire.
